A Little Make-Up Shop & THAT BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Hello, Bonjour, Salut, Kenichiwa, erm....that's all I know for now!

Hi Guys,
So if you've read my past blog you'll know about this wheat and gluten free brownie birthday cake I made myself, and trust me it looked so much better in my head. Right, (deep breath) here it is...

I promise it does look better in real life :')

Definitely should have used those pretty pink and purple heart-shaped silicone baking cases, rather than a big rectangle, shallow, metal tray that I cooked my chips on the night before!

Moving on from my abomination of a cake- for my birthday nan took me into Boots and said 'shop away'. Putting me in Boots' and telling me to shop away is like taking a 5 year old into an antique store and asking for their expertise on a 500 year old metal pig stature- in other words I was clueless!

But all was well as we were helped by this nice lady (by nice I mead scary, intimidating, make-up done to perfection lady) who started asking me about make-up products I did not even know existed- primer, highlighter, tints, pressed powders... At this point whilst my confidence was shrinking by the second the lady was holding back her laughter- and she did it quite well might I add.

In the end I just said 'I don't like liquid foundation' that was it we were off, whizzing around Boots faster than Superman. And this ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls was the result of my 'Boots experience'...

So first I have this Stay Matte pressed powder, which I was told to use first on my face (to replace the liquid foundation). Now I can't tell you how good or bad this is and give a mini review as I have never used one before so I do not know- all I can say is it seems to do the job! haha

Next is this tiny little bronzer (that I thought was eye shadow) that I thought would be really dark compared to my skin but in fact if you only use a little it again seems to do the job (I can see a pattern beginning:/)

I'm not going to go through them all in detail as I think that'll be a bit boring as I know nothing about them so you can just see the rest here...
I was recommended this instead of the Bourjois chocolate looking highlighter and bronzer. It is very shimmery I must say
This is a mascara... it is a good mascara... I like this mascara.... haha

I have never been a bright lips kind of person always sticking to the clear lip glosses but this smells sooooo good and is really nice on. I probably recommend this the most.

There is a funny story behind this. The lady said to me do you moisturise your face? I say- does Soap and Glory body cream count? As I said- clueless. By now she couldn't hold back her laughter by now and gave me this little cream to use that was 3 times cheaper than the next brand! (cheapskate I know).

Now this wasn't from Boots this was from New Look and you have to put a couple of cotes on but it is a really nice colour. I NEVER wear nail polish but I really like this and I love it on! So it has made me want to try out some new colours...

That is what I brought and it all came to just over £20! How good is that! I'm not going to become a beauty blogger any time soon as you can tell but thought I would share with you what I have got if you're not to good on make-up too!

I also joined the gym- gosh it's like a whole new me! And that's where I'm off to now.
Please leave any comments below about what make up you recommend or any thing that you would like to know from me (I can't imagine there would be)

Right, I'm off
Bye Guys

Back to College (or school or maybe even uni)

Hey Guys,

So tomorrow is Monday and if you live in the UK you will know that the clocks have gone back (or forward- I can never quite get my head around it) so getting up bright and early (probably dark) on a cold and frosty morning will be rather joyful :)

So in my last post I said about my cake that I was making and I did make it guys but I have yet to get the pictures from my mum but my next post I brownie promise(salute to all you ex-brownie scouts out there) that in my next post the cake WILL be there! But lets take this as a pre-warning... It doesn't look that appealing :/

I know this is short and sweet but i'm of to bed
Good Night

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!

Hey Guys,

So- yes I have been bad blogger again and deserve a slap on the wrists but all you students out there should empathise with me:/ (please)

So tomorrow is my birthday and aside from the fact the title of this post is all in caps to covey excitment i'm really not that excited :')

I think as you get older you don't get as excited about your birthday- is this just me? But anyway for the past 3 years I always try (the key word here being try) to make my own birthday cake which I have done again this year.

The slight difference is it is not a cake. Yeah. So it looks like a birthday cake but in fact is a gluten and wheat free brownie mix.

My cheap ingredients Brownie Mix (okay so I didn't make it from scratch) some chocolate that is to be melted and marshmallows, mmmm.....

I will put a picture up tomorrow if I have the time if not then Wednesday!

Right, I am going to enjoy my last few hours of being 17! Last few hours of being a child! Aghhhh!

My Kickers Dilemma...

So... My laptop screen has broken hence for the lack of blogging because as soon as I get on a computer I am tackling the Mount Kilimanjaro sized of homework I have! The joys of being a student.

I have a question. Does anybody else wear their Kicker boots with tights and socks?
No, I'm not completely and utterly mad- here is my reason for asking... So I have that kind of friendship with my friends that if something we wear doesn't look nice we will tell each other; as well as this we have that banter that we can take the micky out of each other and it wont offend us! Now, if you have kicker you know that after a while they become bigger (strange, I know) so I wore a dress with black tights, black socks ruffled up a bit and black kickers.
So back to my question- Does anybody else wear their Kicker boots with tights and socks?

Also I have been reading the I Heart New York/ Hollywood/ Paris etc. book collection and OH MY GOSH GUYS!! I cannot put this book down I am on the third book I Heart Paris and can't wait to start and finish the other two!
If anybody likes a good girly read, and you are a fan of films such as The Devil Wears Prada trust me you will love these too!

It has been short and sweet I know and every time I blog I forget how much I love it!

Let me know how you all are and what you have been up to or any books that you might think I like if you have read any similar to this, I would love to know

Right I'm off to bed

18th Birthday Dilemmas

Hi Guys,
So it is exactly 1 month 10 days until my big 18th!
Your 18th that everyone’s like, woah! What are you going to do!? Have a party, go clubbing do something memorable, unbelievable and amazing!?!
Ermm. Nope.
I have no clue what I am going to do! It is too short notice to have a party and I don't think my parents are too keen on me having a house party with lots of drunk people around doing go knows what in my house. And I will go clubbing but not on my birthday (it's on a Monday) I will do that after plus I really need to get some sort of ID sorted :/

Then I have another issue- what do I ask for, for my birthday, clothes... but what clothes. There's no way I would get a new phone and I’m not sure I need any other electrical stuff. As for jewellery I’m the sort of person that thinks how can you buy a necklace that is about £70 when you could buy a whole new wardrobe from Primark- cheapskate I know (later I would be wishing I got the necklace though, haha)

If it has been your birthday recently or it is coming up whether it is you 18th or any other age let me know what you are wishing to wake up and see in front of you; give me some inspiration :')
Sorry this has not been the most interesting of posts but I. Am. Shattered. It took me over an hour and half to get home to day standing around 40 minutes for a bus whilst 2 packed ones passed me, one of them I actually got on but the driver stopped at me and said “sorry it’s too full”
Anyway I am starting to rant now and have too much homework to be doing than ranting…

Sheeran, Styles & Burr

It's time; it's time again, to blog... woohoo (that did sound quite harmonious in my head, haha)

Sticking to my word; hear i am again! :) haha
So today I have ad a wonderful day at college doing more work than I actually thought I was capable of during my four hour and ten minute free periods, yes you just read correctly FOUR HOURS AND TEN MINUTES!! Whilst working away with my ICT work my ears had the pleasure of embracing the beautiful voice of Ed Sheeran; please I beg you if you have not listened to his album X yet you need to RIGHT NOW (maybe not right now- I would like you to finish reading my blog first).

After unconsciously tapping along a bit too much to my excellent encounter with Ed I had English when on reflect I can honestly tell you hand on my heart that I spent my lesson writing about an obsession with Harry Styles (I can assure you as cute as I think he is I'm not obsessed it was only for my work).

http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/one-direction/image
Other than that my day has not been that interesting. Although I should tell you I attempted to make Tanya Burr's chocolate cookies yesterday and hers probably taste a lot better than mine :/ I know they don't look that appealing and they were very very sickly but here they are people...

Yes as I said not too appealing haha.

Anyway I am rambling now people, let me know in the comments below how you day was and what you did. Don't forget to subscribe- if you want that is ;)

Ooops I did it again!

I realise my last blog post was an apology and this is what this one is too I started college again on Monday and it has really taken it out of me! Literally I went to bed really early last night and woke up sooo so late!

Although this is an apology I don’t want to ramble about it I just want to get on and carry on with what I now love doing... blogging!

Now as much as I love the whole atmosphere of education- the homework (strange I know), the timetables (not so much the huge gaps between classes) and waltzing around college thinking I am the perfect student (all for about 2 seconds) I am not loving not being able to blog as much as I wish because of this so I have now created my self a blogging timetable guys and if I don’t stick to it I accept defeat that I am not made for blogging but in the words of (my own as I don’t really know anybody to quote) "I will succeed" haha how cheesy am I.

At this moment in time I have so much work to get on and do but before that I thought I would share with you what I found camping outside my kitchen window this morning whilst I was washing up...

Yes! It is an elephant sized spider crawling along my neighbour’s roof!!!
No, not really but it was a super big spider on the outside of my window though! Now I am not the biggest fan of spiders so this was one way to wake me up I suppose, let me know in the comments below what your fears are I can't think off of the top of my head what I am really scared of... hmmm....

Anyway guys I SHALL write again on Monday no matter what- unless there is an invasion of elephant sized spiders of something!?

Have a nice weekend

I'm Sorry Fellow Readers :(

Hi Guys,

First things first I want to appologise for not writing on my blog for over 2 weeks but I have been quite busy and dedicating a lot of the time I have had spare to trying to design my blog which you can see I have successfully FAILED!
So I am going to but a pre made template in time I think haha I know wonder forrest do some beautiful templates (if you have a blog go check them out if you haven't already!)

Also if you have read my previous blog you will know I recieved my A level results which I was quite happy with, I mean I didnt fail any so just need to work hard make sure I get the grades for university next year :?

Now I've been thinking I would do a 'Going back to school/ college' post next because you will soon learn that I absolutely love stationary shopping! I was always a big fan of buying school uniform too (weird I know) but since I don't have to wear a uniform any more I dedicate my getting prepared by getting stationary!

So ultimately I have written this blog to appologise for my social media absence, but I'm back! Haha. If you are new and come back to read my blog again (I would love you to!) or if you check my blog regularly you will probably see the design change LOADS until I get it just how I like it- this may take time though :/

Exam Results Day Nerves!

I’m not sure of the thousands or millions others of you are feeling the same as me right now but in England and i think wales although I may be wrong it is alevel results day tomorrow and I am quite literally wetting myself! You know that feeling that when you think about something that you nervous/ excited/ happy/ worried about and you heart quite literally feels like it sinks to you stomach were it goes kind of tickly!? That's how i feel right now!! Agghhhh!!!! Sorry that was probably a really bad way of describing that but wow it’s hard to think straight right now.
If you don't hear from me for like a week or two, I have most likely failed!

I don't even know if it is normal to be this nervous? Wow
When I was doing my GCSE's for some reason I would cry either during or after the exam! But with my alevels I truly have no idea what to expect I can’t even prepare myself!!

The thing is as well my mum is working the night before results day and I want to open my results with my family so I'm going to travel an hour on the bus to college get my results in the envelope then travel back on the bus for another hour still not opening my results so I can open them in front of my parents!
If I get good results I will be over the moon and telling you all about it, on the other hand i might just disappear on of the face of the earth for a while:\

If any of you guys are awaiting you results tomorrow let me know how your feeling and coping or if you have already received results from exams or your years work let me know how you did and how it went, I would love to know...

Whoever is expecting any results soon I wish you the best of luck and well done if you have already received your results and you have done well or even if you haven't well done for trying!!
Don't forget to follow my blog for more updates if you enjoyed any of my posts and hopefully the next time I post I will be a very happy girl!
Seeya soon!

Too Thin or Too Fat?

Hi Guys!!

So I am always complaining to the people around me about my weight to the people around me- "why am I not skinny?", "I wish I had a smaller waist?", "why do my legs wobble? I have no thigh gap!”

Girls! We should not be like this!!! In the UK the average size of a woman is a size 16!! If your younger you have your whole life ahead of you when you have your own income if you want you can buy the healthy foods you need to eat, you can go out and be active when you want or you can join a gym!

Trust me I 100% know how it feels with all the pressure of the other people our age that seem to surround us with their skinny bodies or the boys with their 6 packs and perky bums! But don't let that take over your mind and let you feel less of a person with no confidence!! It has happened to me and I know how horrible it can feel! But I will do another blog post about confidence some time soon as I can empathise with you all that when you walk in a room of busy people your head falls ensuring not to make eye contact with anybody!

Due to a problem I have recently discovered with my chubby little body I have lost quite a bit of weight. I know it shouldn't have taken this to get me determined and motivated to lose more weight but seeing the results so far has given me more confidence. A year ago I went to prom and my hips were 42 inches and my waist was like 35 inches and that stuck throughout the year fluctuating bigger and smaller, but now within the space of 2 months I have a 30 inch waist and 37 inch hips! (Still the chunky arms and legs but I'm working on it)

The reason for this blog is to let all you insecure less confident people know you DO NOT have to change yourself for anybody! be happy with who you are as everybody is different and no matter what you look like whether you are supposedly 'overweight' or even if you don't have the latest trainers or your hairs not long enough it does not define you as a person. Cliché I know but it is what you are on the inside...

I hope this has at least made one of you feel better about yourself today, if so let me know if it has in the comments below

If you like this or any of my other posts please comment and/or subscribe to let me know you’re out there, haha.

I Wish I Had Her Hair...

Now I think all us girls are all guilty of browsing around on the internet, looking when we are at school or even when we are shopping we see one of those girls with remarkably perfect hair and then that little voice creeps in our head and says... "I wish I had hair like that!"

I know celebrities have a big influence on how we try to look, there's no denying that some say its good and some say its bad, but I'm not here to change your mind about what you think, merely to discuss yet another dilemma of us young girls (no age or gender discrimination all you boys and older folk out there that may feel this way too!?)

For me I have two celebrity inspirations for the way "I wish" my hair fell graciously around my chubby, freckle filled face...
Cheryl Cole who I think we all know well for being beautiful, and

http://cdni.condenast.co.uk/320x480/a_c/ccole_BR_1sep09_pa_b_320x480.jpg

Sam Faiers you will soon realise how I think Sam Faiers' hair and figure are AMAZING!! If you don't know who Sam Faiers is she a reality TV star in the UK and she is stunning!

http://db2.stb.s-msn.com/i/29/9C69F5F571E76E87D1C9DB36DEB2D_h498_w598_m2.jpg

My mum is a hairdresser so in theory you would think I'm an amazing hairstylist (maybe not but just go with it). The problem is I was born with that super tight naturally curly hair that instead of it looking like the beautiful beach waves or curls we see it looks like i have been dragged through a bush backwards! (Okay, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration) but you see my problem!

If any of you guys have the same problems as me let me know in the comments below!! If you haven't discovered them already Pinterest and Youtube have AMAZING hair tutorials and ideas for ALL hair types, so go over and check them out.

If you like any of my posts please subscribe, like or leave a message in the comments below with any questions or ideas of posts you would like me to do. I'm thinking of doing a 25 facts about me post but not to sure many of you will be interested in that yet so I'm open to any ideas!

Right I'm done rambling now, haha.

Applying to University or College

First things first, I am aware this blog post may not be for all of you so here is a link to another bog I have written all about T.V programs that have caught my eye- http://www.melittleleigh.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/tv-that-tickles-my-fancy.html

Now I promised this post as my previous post but if you read my blog you will be aware I got over excited about going to the seaside (yes, I am 17 years old, haha)
anyways this is all about university/ college... woohoo!

If like me you are going back into your second year at college or you just wish to go to university or even if your starting college, you are probably feeling the stress of making the right choices of what uni/ college to apply to or what exact subjects you should take!?

I'm no expert so please don't follow what I say like I'm a professional I'm just sharing with you how I have been approaching the matter and how it has helped me so far.

At university I want to study journalism and before I started college and chose my A-levels I ordered a load of university prospectuses and looked at what grades and subjects they required, this obviously helped me choose which subjects I am now doing in college. Unless you understand the way the university write which grades and subjects they require you to have I strongly advise you to ask somebody who knows and understands to go through them with you as I thought university would only accept me if I took A-levels at college not a BTEC but I was very wrong. I ended up taking A-levels in media, ICT, English literature and language and law. I won't lie they are very hard to get used to as they are a big jump from GCSE but they are very interesting and the atmosphere of the classroom is very different.

Once you are in college the best thing you can do is take notes, more notes and even more notes!! Trust me these will be your saviour when it come to revising for exams. A way I have found to take really good notes that stick in my head is using case cards. You can make them yourself by writing and cutting paper into smaller squares or they are available to buy from different stationary shops or Asda for about £1. Boy, I wish I knew to use these when doing my GCSE's! When you have written different terms and definitions or diagrams on your case cards look through them every day or every other day it only takes 5 minutes whilst you on car journeys or just before you go to bed then when you feel ready ask your mum, dad, brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, uncle whoever to test you on them once or twice a week and I promise you it works!

Now I have completed my first year at college I know when I go back in September I have to start applying to university so to get ahead of the game I have been doing my own homework over the 3 months I have had off of college. Looking at undergraduate open days which if like me you didn't know you have to book a place to go to the open day (I am yet to visit one but have booked places). Decide what subject you want to study first then the location. If you want to go far please consider the costs I know there are various funding and bursaries available but just remember you do have to pay them back. Once you have decided what you want to do and a rough idea of the location of where you want to go the UCAS website is your best friend! This will tally up which universities are best for you and which universities are better for different things. Another great website I have found is which but I will leave links to them below.

As for applying to university they require a personal statement and like a CV you want to stand out from the rest so getting really involved in what you wish to study is perfect for this. A friend of mine wishes to study Primary Education in university so these holidays she has had work experience in her old primary school. As for myself I have started to write a blog. I have always want to write a blog but never had the confidence to do it but now I enjoy it so much and wish I had started years ago and I hope to use this for my portfolio for uni. My passion and love for writing I can use for my education.
"Once you have your education nobody can take it away from you!"
Finally I am not too sure about this but I think universities base their decision of whether to accept you into their university or not relies on your predicted grades. Two years in college goes by so fast I cannot stress this to you enough! I know your late teenage years many of you want to go to as many parties, nightclubs and be with your friends 24/7 but as well as having fun there needs to be a strong balance between your education and social life, once you have your education nobody can take it away from you!

I know this has been a really long post and sorry if you got bored or lost interest but as much as my parents helped me I would love to have heard from someone who was currently going through the process of college/university.

If you have any questions or any requests for any other posts I am more than happy to answer your questions and consider your requests. If you liked this post please feel free to subscribe.

Have a lovely weekend

T.V. that Tickles my Fancy

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Horror_Story
Around the age of 13 or 14 everybody I knew got into watching the latest horror movies Insidious, Paranormal Activity, The Last Exorcism, yep you name it I've avoided it! But... (a revelation coming) After hearing so much about American Horror Story and flicking past it every time I look for yet another romcom on Netflix I decided to take a big step (wasn't too big) and click to watch episode 1!!

I LOVE IT!!!
My yummy tea, mmm..

Now every morning I wake up whilst everybody else is still in bed, I make my camomile and spiced apple tea (I recommend its sooo good and the packaging is really pretty), with my knees tucked up on the sofa, watching episode after episode of American Horror Story!
just want to add please don't watch this if you are easily scared, it is rated 18 in the UK so know your limits I don't wish for anybody to get any nightmares or turning around every 2 seconds- I know the feeling!

My next T.V pick is Murdered by my Boyfriend. I don't know if this is available to watch outside of the UK but hand on my heart it is the BEST drama I have ever seen in my life!
I don't know if it will have the same affect on other girls as it did me and I don't know how you boys would feel when you watch it but it definitely pulled on my heart strings and opened my eyes to how many relationships really are. Based on a true story it follows how a teenage girl goes to a party, meets a handsome older boy who she then becomes pregnant by and he becomes abusive- physically, sexually and psychologically. It is definitely a must see please watch it I will leave a link below, let me know what you think!

Finally Hollyoaks is really heating up at the moment people! There's the domestic abuse between Maxine and Patrick that has just been announced to the whole village!! The usual scheming with Mercedes involved along with Freddie, and to top it off Cindy's seeing dead people! I mean, what more could you want from a soap these days?

I have kind of realised after writing this post I seem to watch programs that have relationships with abuse in them. That's kinda ironic? Well, if you have any suggestions based on these programs that I may like please let me know in the comments below as I have a lot of spare time on my hands.

So that is what I'm loving on T.V at the moment I know this post may be limited and a bit boring for some of you as I'm not 100% sure what programs are available outside the UK or what you are interested in but I would love to know so please let me know in the comments and if you have enjoyed this post or others that I have posted please hit the subscribe button. Also I am putting a post up about universities today so if your interested don't forget to check that out!!

I will stop rambling now :/

A Weekend by the Seaside:)

So I know I said this week I promised to talk all about universities (yes, I am about to break a promise). But. I have actually done something interesting this weekend just gone so I just thought I would share it with you guys...

When I go out I usually stay around my local area, on the odd occasion go to London maybe once a month or so but my outing's are never that exciting (cue the ahhh's). Enough reminiscing on my boring life- I WENT TO THE SEASIDE!

If you read my previous posts I have most likely mentioned more than once how bored I have been over the 3 months I have had off of college so this was a lovely change of scenery, and I never quite understood how calming and relaxing walking along the beech is! The clear blue skies, the fresh wind blowing through your hair unconsciousness over inhaling, the crashing of the waves the only time you consider the loud noise from children not annoying but harmonious- I understand the metaphors are getting to much now; I'll stop.

So I know I'm yet to perfect my photography skills as this pic does look a little dull but it was very bright and sunny on the weekend and the skies were very blue. But this picture above is the sea front. I forgot to mention this beech is in Kent and its called Herne Bay if anybody is close to visit in England.

Walking along the pier was lovely the huts along the were so cute. Unfortunately I didn't get to see them open today, only one where we brought some scrumptious strawberries, but I have before and they have a little tea shop with scones inside one of them, a souvenir in another and home made jewellery pieces just so so cute.

As I said the huts were shut so hanging over their closed doors I saw these...

Yes welcome to Herne Bay fellow readers!

Oh here I saw my good old friends, the two birds sitting on the wall, one's named Peter and the other called Paul... yes my comical imagination goes wild.

After all the fun at the sea side we went for a nice meal at the Harvester where I was stuck between choosing a chicken, bacon and cheese burger or a veggie burger. I ended up going for the chicken but as much as I enjoyed it kinda wish I went for the veggie burger as I didn't eat much of this one. Also has any one who has been to the Harvester ever noticed how impeccably yummy their chips are!! (they were gone within seconds)

So that was what I did over the last weekend. I am incredibly sorry this post is sooo so so late I promise to keep on top of it (scouts honour). Please subscribe if you liked my little post of madness haha.

Bye Guys

The Summer Holidays! Plans and Flops :(

Hi all!

So I broke up from college mid June which even then for the past month I hadn't been attending college regularly due to exams- exams I hope and pray I passed:/

I planned all sorts with friends, how we would spend summer together doing everything and nothing! Whether it be seeing the latest film in the cinema, baking cake and cookies at home, going to the beech, or having a girly shopping day but so far none of this has happened! And not to sure this is going to happen. Haha.

As a child I moved schools a lot which results in not having any childhood friends now that I'm older :( But I have accepted that whilst majority of people already have their 'clicks' I am still yet to find mine (I'm hoping at university). Don't get me wrong I have many friends who I get along with really well and can spend hours speaking to or hanging around with in college but not someone I can be 10000% myself around, call up to do something outrageous with, not be judged for anything I do or say!

I realise this has turned into some sort of rant haha I'm very sorry but needed to get it off my chest, and now realise I will most likely spend my summer with my wonderful 6-year-old brother ahah

Let me know in the comments below if you are doing anything nice over the summer holidays, days out, sleepovers or anything else.
Next week I will be writing all about uni's and seeking your opinions on a lot of things, but until next time...

Byee Guys!!

New York or Los Angeles?

Hi Guys,
As you may know (I think I mentioned it) I am currently in college with no job- which equals no funding- which means I don't save up for the latest make-up or clothes to just go and pick up and buy whenever I wish, just rely on the bank of mum and dad :/

But...
I have a plan. Whilst the excitement of soon applying to university is on my mind (a whole other story on its own) I have realised how I really should plan beyond uni! So. During uni I am going to get a job and save up for a months holiday in America which ha been my dream since I was young, but here's my dilemma... NY or LA?
Where should I go?

Taking into consideration I have only been on an aeroplane once, that means I have only been abroad once (unless France counts!?)

I've heard New York is active, agile and always alive with lots of people whereas LA is filled with bright sun, beaches and bikinis- although I haven't quite got the body. I'll go on the beach in my bikini and scare everyone else away.

I will most likely go with a friend and would love to sight see but even more love to get active!!

So if any of you guys have any ideas please let me know, even if its not New York or LA I am open to any options. Also if you know let me know what there is to do there all in the comments below!!

Wow!!

Sam Smith... AMAZING! What else do I need to say!?
I sat glued to my TV yesterday watching Sam Smith at Glastonbury, he is so so so sooo good I think I'm obsessed.

I can honestly say I am now a Sam Smith fan! Not only does his voice contain those perfect harmonies but also the stories he tells. I mean Leave Your Lover and Nirvana my two favourite and of course Latch- one of my most favourite songs and hearing Sam sing it a Glastonbury last night completely slowed down nearly brought a tear to my eye... beautiful.

Must Watch:
Nirvana, Sam Smith
Leave Your Lover, Sam Smith

Getting the Hang of it :/

Hi all,

Right I didn't want this blog to be all about me and what I've done this week as I have done absolutely nothing but cut and bruise my  lip playing frisby with my 6 year old brother (you will learn quickly how i am prone to accidents!) and getting excited that in less than 4 months I will be 18 (I LOVE birthdays!!)

As much as I love to write and enjoying this new venture of blogging- I have one issue... I don't know how to use and promote my blog properly :/ Now, if any of could please write in the comments below to help me or any ideas how I can promote further it would be of great help!! I'm a bit clueless

I plan to do a baking day with two of my friends from college within the next week or so; I'm thinking brownies, cookies, pop cakes- the lot! I have also recently discovered that you can make cookies, cakes and pancakes in the microwave? Who would have thought it! I have been told I'm not aloud dairy so I'll have to quickly look for some alternatives which will probably not taste so yummy, but fear not what I find I will take many pictures and let you know in my blog what I have made for any of you who also are not aloud dairy.

Sorry my blogs are not up to standard at the moment but I can assure you- give me time I'm getting into the swing of it, haha

Please don't forget to leave messages in the comments to help me out and I will hopefully blog with more success next week (and have a more interesting week)

There's A First Time for Everything...

So, I am a 17 year old girl who has always wanted to join the world of blogging but just never had the confidence! I thank the likes of Zoella, Tanya Burr ans Sprinkle of Glitter for giving me the confidence to start this- well what I hope to be a successful blog!

I am like every other girl out there constantly worrying about college (or school for some of you), the latest blouse or shoes from Topshop that I haven't got the money to buy, the boys that seem to unintentionally wiggle their way into your thoughts when your brain is unoccupied by another issue and girls. Girls who say they are your best friend one minute but are happy to deceive you and tell others (and fabricate) what you may or may not have said about the hot topic in your friendship group or school.

Unlike many people my age I am quite boring, I don't go out a lot, I do not have a job to fund for myself (thanks mum and dad) One thing I do have a passion for is any thing media related. Give me a magazine (or 5) I'm sorted, keeping up with Katie Price's latest drama's or Harry Styles' new love interest- I'm there. Being the one of first to know who is topping the music charts this week as well as catching up with what's on TV.

Now, I know some of you may think I'm 'sad' but I am totally and utterly a massive book worm, from the twilight saga to my latest, the fault in our stars... yes, I do 'lose myself in a book'

I know I've probably rambled on now but you now know a bit about me. I can ensure you that my blogs are dedicated to empathise with all you teenagers out there whether it be anxiety, confidence (a big issue for me) or general interests as I mentioned earlier. I will blog again, once a week to keep you all in and dated with the current going ons- that probably made no sense :/ sorry haha

Good Byeee All xxx
